RE: The Avalon comment on how the new power lines along the Avalon Causeway are killing so many birds. Are you sure it isn't the speeding vehicles along the causeway coming to and from Avalon? I live in the area year round and drive the causeway often. That roadway is a drag strip, especially on the summer weekends. Fact is, during the "off season" there aren't any dead birds along that road and that also includes "crushed turtles".
