My expectations for customer service are: a simple "hello", scan and bag my items as needed, "Thank you and have a nice day". Nothing extravagant. What I got when checking out at a big box store in Rio Grande on Sunday was: no greeting, scanned my 4 items and left them for me to bag while the employee completed a text on his cell phone, and absolutely no indication or acknowledgement that the transaction had even occurred. Customer service is a dying art.
