Seriously, working a Cape May County job is a fluff job! 35 hour work week, 15 paid holidays and many use their generous sick time as vacation days. They talk in the hallways for a half hour AFTER start time and close their desk a half hour before the end of day. It’s true, a public employee could never work for a private company because they would have to work and annually be evaluated. Not grouped together and everyone gets a very nice annual raise. This is what is killing our economy. Our County taxes go up every year to pay for fluff.
