The County Commissioners are in negotiation with county employees unions and rumors are they are going to give out major increases to employees and bonuses. Even bigger then what they gave in their last contract and that was $1,000 added each year to their salaries, a bonus check each December for $1,000 and 2.3% each year. So if you were making $60,000 at the beginning of the contract in 4 years you’d be making 69000 + 4000 (December bonus) 73,000. Plus any stipends, merit or cost of living raise on top of that.
