The start of singles row is also ridiculous.The Buoy to make a southerly turn shouldn’t have been south of lane 1. To be fair for all 14 lanes, put it in front of lane 7. Northerly lanes had to run and row an extra 150 yards further than south lanes. The race is designed to benefit the hometown. Sad.
