This Sunday, at the Martin Luther King Center in Whitesboro, I was dismayed to see that there was no adult supervision while the children were playing on the waterslide that was placed there for the kids to play on. The older kids were mixed in with the younger ones and continually were running into, bumping and not caring for the well-being of children 6 and under. Parents were nearby but were both drinking and smoking on Township property. It is a shame that an event that is boasted for children does not seem very child friendly.
