The Ferry doesn't want another bridge, they already have the Twin spans going to Wilmington, that's their cash cow! That Bridge is what keeps the ferry afloat and a place to dump millions of tax free dollars into. Secondly, I live 3 houses off of Ferry Rd. It's bad enough with ferry traffic, I sure as heck don't want another million cars past my house every month and lastly, They would have to do another multi million dollar study that takes 5 years to do and by then the politics will change again and hence the can is kicked down the road again! No Bridge here any time soon!
