I am bit bothered by a commenter who said that workers should be thanking the consumers through the pandemic. Really? Did you deal with consumers whining about capacity limits and social distancing measures? Or how about anti-maskers? If you want a thank you here it is. Thank you for creating mass vendor shortages and inflation. Thank you for double and triple the work. Thank you for coming in without a mask and employees testing positive for COVID-19, and thank you for the big raises and multiple bonus checks. I’m sure the consumers had fun building their backyard oasis last year. Get real.
