Cape May

I am a permanent resident of Cape May and have a year round rentals in my home. I have always paid for the mechantile license and had the fire inspection. My homeowners insurance also required it. Now, year round rentals only require a fire inspection and not a merchantile license. This is not to be confused with a property owner renting their home year round. If you are renting your property week to week you are required to get a merchantile license and the fire inspection. You know who you are that aren't doing that and therefore put your insurance in jeopardy. Pay Up
