If you love animals, you will be interested in and appreciate this: For years the U.S. Department of Agriculture maintained on its website a feature that reported violations of the federal Animal Welfare Act by laboratories, roadside zoos, circuses, puppy mills, and other animal-exploiting facilities. That feature enabled animal welfare organizations to identify and take action against animal abusers. Trump shut down the feature, denying its use to those organizations. Thankfully, the Biden administration has restored the feature.
