I took time out of my Sunday morning to meet the Democrat candidate for Middle Township Committee at a coffee klatch in my neighborhood. She seemed nice enough and I went with an open mind. But, I came away uneasy. Reading between the lines, the premise of her campaign seems to be - In 2021, three white men should not permitted to be in charge of anything. Especially if they are Republicans. I guess the opinions of the thousands of voters who supported the current members of Committee are meaningless? As a woman, I’m all for diversity in leadership. But not just because you’re a woman.
