The Borough just planted a tree at the curb at the Venice Avenue street end that intersects with Lake Road, that was destroyed by a drunk driver 6 years ago. The driver was made to pay to replace the fully grown 15 foot shade tree that he had destroyed. Now, some 6 years later, the Borough replaced the destroyed tree with a tiny frail 7 inch twig, with not one leaf on it. That is an insult! What happened to the money that the Borough collected to replace the "real tree" that was destroyed?
