New families are on our block, sadly most of the children/grandchildren are free to run back and forth across the street, screaming as they go, play ball in the middle of the street, taunt drivers trying to get down the street, and more. I shouldn't have to ask that the kids not play ball near my cars. I'm not the grumpy neighbor, we have 4 kids under 12, we keep an eye on them and do not allow them to annoy our neighbors. But then again, that's our job as parents, right?
