Phillies fans and Republicans. Now we have the Congressional Republicans screaming that the Capitol fencing must come down. Some years ago the Phillies were leading by six runs late in a game, and Jimmy Rollins stole second base. The opposing manager called it 'cheap'. Charlie Manuel said, "if you promise to stop trying to score runs we will do the same". So Republicans, if you promise that Trump's terrorists will never attack the Capitol again, then the government will take down the fencing. Honestly, most Americans would likely fear this to be another 'promise not kept', just one of many!
