If you walk your dog, put your hand on the sidewalk or asphalt, if you can't leave it there for 3 seconds, It's to hot for your dog to walk on. All black top surfaces are generally 40º hotter than the outside air, your dogs pads can be damaged. Carry some water with you for them and if the dog stops, It's telling you PLEASE stop or rest.
