At what point in our history did “racism “ become an excuse for Everything? We could begin a healing process if responsible leaders would stop the knee jerk excuse every time something happens. I suppose there are examples of racism in our society, although we’ve come along way, but it’s not systemic. Heck over 50% of the population voted for a black president (Obama) and over 50% for a black female Vice President. Stop the excuses , stop labeling every event, and let’s at least start to try to come together.
