Economics 101: The federal government is giving some people $1,400 checks, which is nice considering the current economic circumstances. Unfortunately, they are not telling the American public that it's costing each person about $5600 over the next few decades. I know, kick the can down the road, but those of us in our 50's and older won't have to worry. Those who are between ages of 15 and 40 will be concerned once they old enough to take on some financial responsibility.
