Regarding the debate of the California response versus the Florida response: If the rates are similar, please keep in mind that Florida has one of the oldest populations in the US (median age about 42 years) and California has one of the youngest (median age about 37), so we'd expect Florida's numbers to be much worse than California's. I have no little interest in the debate other than scientific and didn't know the median ages until I went online. I just dislike false equivalents, bad math and poor methodology. Sometimes you just have to spout.
