I know I’m probably living in the past but I can remember that Stone Harbor always had a surplus at yearly budget time. If we had a town manager who could put a lid on the unnecessary spending by council we would be fiscally sound. I have no problem with funding a paid fire department or giving deserved raises to employees. Notice I said deserved. But the town should put a stop to any new spending. Tighten the purse strings!
