When I am seeking local news, I always rely on the Herald first. They have proven themselves to be fair to both sides of the issue, and I trust them completely. When I seek national news, I always go to “ just the news. “ dot. They offer just the facts known, with no spin, opinion, or modification. I then read both left leaning, and right leaning opinion journalism to find out where both sides stand on an issue. This way I have the facts first, before being influenced by one side or the other, and can formulate an accurate opinion. To follow one viewpoint leads to confirmation bias.
