It cracks me up when I see posts about Biden and gas prices going up. The truth is that no president — Democrat or Republican, friend of "big oil" or supporter of alternative fuels — can do much of anything to affect the short-term price of oil, and therefore gasoline. Additionally, the S&P 500 index has climbed 14.3% since election day, Biden is also not responsible for that increase. Trump of course, took full credit for the stock market rise during his administration, although he had very little to do with it.
