A federal court put a stop to the CDC illegal order to make it illegal for landlords to evict tenants during the pandemic. Trump had ordered a 90 day stay on evictions due to the CDC demands. It’s unconstitutional to target landlords as the CDC has done. It’s very unlikely that landlords will ever see the back rent owed them. Landlords will still have to pay all the back taxes and mortgage payments they owe.
