It wasn't by design and he did get hosed by Mitch Mc Connell ,but you know what? Having Merrick Garland sworn in as AG is actually a blessing in disguise. As the US attorney General he will do an outstanding job of going after this Country's main threat... Domestic terrorism. You know all the white supremacists groups by now. He will find them,charge them and prosecute them, and most importantly take their guns and their ability to create more chaos. Hopefully, Trump and certain GOP members of Congress that are found to be part of the Capitol Insurrection will be held accountable, Lock them up!!!
