Monarch butterflies are endangered. Since Cape May is on their migration path, I propose that the city offer free milkweed plants to those who sign up and agree to plant them. Then the city purchases the plants in bulk and residents who signed up pick them up at a designated time and place. I would be happy to help with the distribution. And this would be a story that could be promoted in the media to encourage other communities to do the same. Happy holidays to all!
