Why isn’t more being done to collect child support from dead beat parents? It’s a felony if a person abuse an animal but the custodial parent has a hard time trying to collect back child support. When you call child support they make you feel guilty trying to enforce payment in order to provide your child a better life. They withhold their stimulus check but they can’t release it to the custodial parent until the deadbeat’s new spouse has time to fight it. Shouldn’t a child be more important than a deadbeat or their spouse. A custodial parent shouldn’t have the financial burden alone.
