With the coming of winter I thought I should have my garden hose and outdoor shower pipes turned off and drained of water. The rest of my house would be fine as I live there year around. The plumber came, went under the house for 15 minutes and left. The bill was mailed to me 3 days later for $150.00. That was the price for a house call, like a doctor used to charge maybe. As a retired school teacher I called my grandson and advised him not to go to college. It was best for him to save his money and go to plumbing school instead. Word of advice students, go to a trade school.
