The Single Use Plastic Bag law confuses me. It seems to apply to retail only. In the past I have used my store bags to line my trash can, donate for reuse in Thrift stores or return for recycling. Today I took my own bag to the store and purchased celery, carrots, potatoes, bread and a box of sandwich bags. Therefore, I checked out with 29 plastic bags no one can reuse. What is accomplished ??
