I read a good amount of spouts about West Wildwood. It's a small and cute community that I visit every summer. Considering the "under 600 person" winter population, why don't they just outsource the police patrol to another town? This has been done in small rural communities in NJ for many years with much success and cost savings. It could be patrolled by an "on island" or "off island" police department and it's not like you need many squads. It's an idea worth considering if not done so already.
