My 99 year old friend passed on and her favorite thing to do the last years of her life was reading spout off. Her mind was still pretty sharp, it's the body that failed her. She was in Europe during WW 2. She'd laugh at all our complaining. Her teen years were spent in bomb shelters for days, then running out to move the dead and steal food, then back to shelters waiting for more bombs to rain down. Her favorite comment to me as I read the spouts to her was, "they have no idea what real trouble is." She asked me to thank all of you for the laughs. RIP to my friend.
