Despite all the pleas of health officials and doctors some foolish citizens insist on exercising their “individual rights” over plain common sense. The recent bike rally at Sturgis, S.D., is a prime example. Thousands of bikers crowded together and maskless in a tiny town. Interviewees claimed “We never get sick,not even a cold.” Another said “this rally was a test.” A test for what?Maybe to see how far they can spread the virus when they ride back to their home towns. All the efforts by concerned people is negated by just one event like this. Will we ever wake up to reality?
