While I am in sympathy with the business owners who are losing profits this summer season, nevertheless I concur with Governor Murphy who renewed his 30 day executive order keeping indoor dining closed as well as other safety measures. We can’t have a strong economy without appropriate public health measures. The pandemic is not over. Cape May officials would do well to mandate wearing masks outside. Too many visitors as well as residents are maskless. The cases are rising in Cape May City with another death reported today. The sooner we mandate masks the safer our community will be.
