It's hurricane season. Avoid tragedy for people and pets by preparing right now. Where can you go outside of the county? How will you transport pets? Do you have carriers or cages available? Have you amassed food and water for all? Do you have a list of items to grab at the last moment in a safe location like important papers, medicine, extra cash and contact numbers? Is your car always gassed? Is your evacuation route planned? You are responsible for your pet(s). Do not leave them behind especially in kennels or tied outside? Preparation now may save the lives of those you love.
