The Borough of Stone Harbor sold beach tags this year after considering foregoing them. They might as well have - there are NO beach inspectors in sight. The word is obviously out - the beaches on weekends are totally overrun and crammed to the point where - at high tide - people are all over each other. ZERO social distancing. Why sell tags if you’re not going to enforce the need to have them to be on the beach? Money? Well, as a 40 year homeowner that’s a price we’re happy to pay because it keeps our beaches from being like Rehoboth on summer weekends. No longer apparently. Inspect!
