I read a comment where someone stated that the Egyptians used slaves to build the pyramids, suggesting sarcastically that I guess we should tear them down. Others said that the pyramid workers were paid. It makes no difference. Egyptians did own slaves. As did Romans, as did Persians, as did the Aztec, as did American Indians (for example Sacajawea was captured by other Natives and sold). Slavery is an abomination but liberals are going to have to widen their net around the whole globe if they want to castigate all who practiced slavery throughout history. It wasn't just white men.
