I am of Italian descent. I think the issue of the Columbus monuments is being taken too personally. I do not feel as though I nor my Italian heritage is being attacked. I think accuracy in historical fact is most important. People should not be fighting about this with baseball bats or defacing monuments. How about we get rid of this coronavirus first before you kill each other about 1492?
