I do not understand some people’s fixation or supporting confederate symbols. The Generals of the Confederacy were men who took an oath to defend America then resigned their commission to attack the country they pledged to protect.They were lucky that President Lincoln and General Grant did not hang the lot of them for treason-these statutes need to go.They represent men who went to war to maintain a political system of enslaving human beings.The Confederate flags represents White Supremacy that does not belong on public property.Hitler is part of History but I do not see statues of him. Get real
