To The Editor: No, I am not assuming that people of color have applied and been rejected in all those positions. I am stating a fact that a number of persons of color have applied for those positions and have not been hired. Also, there needs to be a progressive recruitment effort to attract and retain persons of color for many of those jobs - that's if they are even wanted in CMC government. I am sure if you ask to look at the county's EEO hiring stats for "ALL" the positions in CMC it would be telling and quite alarming. It's time for equality in hiring of People of Color in CMC.
