The Beatles ruined Wildwood. Before the Fab Four arrived in America, Doo Wop rocked car radio’s. After recording in Philadelphia and entertaining on American Bandstand, the great Artists of the era spent the Weekends in Wildwood New Jersey. Once the mop heads arrived, Wildwood was no longer the Vegas of the East Coast. You can sit at the Cape May Ferry Terminal and enjoy Aerosmith’s “Take me to the Other Side, or Livin on the Edge”. Stroll Cape May and listen to “Pink Houses”, or Don Henleys, “Down at the Sunset Grill”, But Wildwood was the original Seaside Rock town of America. Yea Yea Yea !
