There are plans in place by the federal government to return at least two of Cape May County's barrier islands to their original, natural state by the year 2048. The feds have also grown tired of paying to pump beaches. All homes, businesses & local governments will be bulldozed. Worry not, both towns will become federal/state parks under this plan. Visit while you can.
