The wisdom or lack of wisdom by Army Corp and NJ DEP has once again surfaced. Millions of your tax dollars will go to Great Lakes Dredging company. They thank you for your donation as they prepare to destroy more offshore waters and pump sand onto Sea Isle beach. My bet is the sand will be gone following the first nor'easter after the project is completed.Rather than install rock structures/jetties to hold sand, NJ just keeps pumping sand. Of course, the Dredging companies would be out of business if jetties were installed to change the flow onto beaches.
