Kudos to the townies who voiced their concerns about seasonals this weekend. BUT I do want to clarify why. It is not that townies ‘hate’ the seasonal folks, we are upset at the risk that was placed upon our county and islands by your visit this weekend. You are coming from states and regions that have a much higher prevalence of Covid19 and even if you do not exhibit symptoms, you still may have been exposed. The incubation period is a concern. We have many seniors, children and families in the region. The concern we have is the unnecessary risk that was presented to us.
