Someone from Avalon / Wayne thanked the Avalon Beach Patrol for keeping her kids safe so she could relax. That is no big deal, considering that they won't let anyone into the water past their knees. That way they have time to babysit the main line rich kids. There is no more restrictive beach on the coast. Of course, it is safe, it is tough to get in trouble in a foot and a half of water. That doesn't even take into consideration that playing on the beach is forbidden. It is reserved for rich mommies reading beach novels and chatting on cell phones.
