It is so upsetting to see what has happened to our beaches especially between 50th and 57th streets. Not only is it a hike to get to the water, but you have a 4-foot cliff to get down to get in the water. Why didn't they let Mother Nature take care of the sand instead of the local government? They did a terrible job.
