Dogs and kids die in hot cars left in parking lots by caregivers who left them for a few moments. Open windows do not help. Leave them home where it is cooler. Carry water in your car for an emergency. Take the heat seriously for pets and people. Animals outside even for a few moments need access to shade and water, including horses.
