Avalon needs a new mayor and Borough Council. I am referring to the monstrosity being built on Ocean Drive, being much too large for the lot. There is no accounting for taste, but the powers that be need to enforce the codes, not only for the beauty of the island but also for the ecology of the island. The noise pollution involved in building these monsters coupled with the power and resources needed to maintain them is making Avalon much less desirable as a vacation destination.
