Linwood police have a problem with racial profiling. I am black and married to a white woman. I approached their DWI checkpoint Saturday night, May 28 and because I drive a $50,000 car they pulled me over for no reason at all. I instructed the police officer that I do not drink alcohol and they still pulled me over and gave me a field sobriety test and not once did he check my driver's license or registration, and they still were not satisfied with that. I told them to give me a breathalyzer and when I insisted on a breathalyzer they finally let me go. Racism is alive and well in Linwood.
