A North Cape May spout in defense of grocery store cashiers makes a good point. Cashiers have the most important job in the store because they are the ones who take customers' money. I was just in a department store in Mays Landing and had to hunt for a cashier who did not have a long line. Some people left without buying anything. Why don't store managers realize this?
