Whether your spout is about constables on patrol or part-time police officers on patrol in Dennis Township, the end game is to have a dedicated patrol resource (eyes and ears throughout the township) to deter crime. Dennis Township shares State Police with Woodbine and Upper Township, who by and large, is just a reactive police presence with minimal manpower. As demonstrated by the recent string of serial burglaries, Dennis Township is perceived as an easy target for criminals because no one is watching. It is time for DT officials to upgrade public safety with its own patrols.
