What politician in his right mind would ever sponsor a bill to require post high school military training, as is done in Israel? Can you just hear the uproar from helicopter parents and young people, egged on by the media and the college teachers? Hopefully, we again have a president who disregards the retired generals we always see on Fox and concentrates our nation's attention on building good roads, health care and jobs, and let foreigners fight their own wars.
