I just returned to Avalon from a winter in Florida and as I turned off Rt. 9 I saw the beautiful, rust-colored electric poles only to be outdone past the Parkway when they turned to silver/gray. What a beautiful sight to see. Full-time Avalon residents must be thrilled to finally see this progress. Later, I traveled to Sea Isle to see the road-raising effort. Questionable decisions made by politicians.
